The Photographer
Mt name is Liel (she/her) and I'm a proud mom of 2 stunning kids.
This whole journey began after not being able to get my personal maternity and newborn photos (as I have an over the top personal style). I then decided to combine my love for babies and empowerment with my passion for arts and aesthetics, and became a maternity and newborn photographer.
With over 6 years of experience, safety education, arts and design education, and ability to create my own hand made sets and props. I can proudly say I'm one of a kind photographer.
One of my biggest joys is empowering women and letting them see themselves in a different light. This helps with self esteem and builds up confidence during one of the most sensitive times- pregnancy.
I specialize in fine art and fashion style.
Education- completed the APNPI (Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International) safety and newborn photography certificate.
The style- Fine Art
Fine arts are very different from a point-and-shoot photos, in which you take a photo and use that as a final product.
Fine art photographers are artists that use their creative side and transform their images into a work of art. This is done by using advanced posing, extensive and creative editing, and understanding of light.
With all these, the final product is a timeless art that you will proudly hang on your wall.
This type of photography falls under Luxury Photography.
The Experience
With the understanding that all people are different, have unique personalities, come from different cultures and have different interest, I strive to capture your personal story in the photos. Whether it is in honouring your culture and heritage, include your personal interests/hobbies, and include your professional items.
All newborn sets are created and customized to include all these uniquenesses.
All maternity sessions are done with consideration of your personal style and respect to your culture.
The Studio
My licensed and insured home based studio (separated entrance to insure both, yours and my privacy), is located in Reunion, Airdrie.
With consideration of my clients needs, my studio is equipped with an in studio mini kitchen, bathroom and sitting area. To insure everyones comfort during the long sessions, the sitting area has a recliner couch, TV, kids entertainment. The kitchen has all you need for a stay with a baby, coffer machine, snacks, kettle and mini fridge.
Studio space includes all newborn props, blankets, wraps and more. Huge client closet with over 80 gowns, accessories and fabrics.
The studio is designed for an all inclusive experience.
Pet friendly- to make sure we can include the furry members of the family.
The Product
Your beautiful gallery will be available within 14 business days. For easy viewing and ordering, galleries are delivered via password protected online gallery. Your selected digital images will have instant download option. Extra digital images, albums and wall art are available for purchase separately.
All sessions include digital images only, hard copies are available for purchase.
Pricing Transparency- All session packages include digital images and have set price (additional participants, gowns or digital images are extra). All pricing information is available on the website (under investment), Facebook page and upon inquiry as well.
Payment Plans- this option is available for any session.
Policy
To book any session with the studio:
Non refundable deposit- a non refundable deposit must be paid at the time of booking. This is made to reserve the time and date of the session. The amount of the deposit comes out of the total price and not in addition.
Contract- the contract will include all the details of your session, the date and time, payment, cancelation or reschedule information. This is made to insure that both parties are aware of the session details.
As a professional service I reserve the right to refuse service to clients that showed:
No respect to my time, by not showing up to their session, being late more than 3 times, or have poor to no communication.
No respect to my studio, by any damage.
No respect to me, verbally or physically.
